The fonds consists of textual materials created by and relating to the General Council of Local Union Churches, its Policy Committee and related individuals and bodies.

Contents include: minutes of the Policy Committee (ca.1920), a report to the General Council of Local Union Churches of Western Canada (1921), and resolutions passed by the General Council (1922); publications relating to the General Council (1921-1924); correspondence regarding Union Churches and Cooperative Churches (1924); and an address, The Evolution of Organic Church Union in Canada, given by the Chairman at a General Council Meeting, on April 5, 1915.

There is also a group of additional materials on the topic of Local Unions, created/collected by the Rev. W.H. Hughes. This contains some originals and some copies of archival materials, along with other documents assembled by Hughes.

Contents include: Synod minutes (1906-1924), published and unpublished; correspondence relating to the Church Union Expense Fund (1923-1925); mimeographed material sent out by the General Interests Committee (1922-1925); a handwritten outline of a speech on church union (no date); and documents published by the Synod.

The fonds consists of records created by and relating to the Saskatchewan Conference of the Methodist Church in Canada, its Conference Secretaries and staff, as well as the Stationing Committee, and Wesley College Commission.

Contents include: original Conference minutes (1904-1925); reports; published minutes from Saskatchewan Conference (some as Assiniboia Conference) and predecessors, such as Manitoba and Northwest Conference; property records; education records; clippings and select publications; records of the Stationing Committee; treasurer’s reports; Conference Secretary’s correspondence; proceedings and related records and publications from the Conference-appointed Wesley College Commission (1918-1919).

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers created by Saskatchewan poet and writer, Anne Campbell. The papers are arranged in twelve series reflecting her numerous interests and activities: Arts/Cultural Organizations; Clippings; Correspondence files; Educational Institutions; Employment files; Exhibition Brochures/Invitations/Programs; Interests; Personal files; Photographs; Professional Organizations; Publications/Writings/Drafts by Anne Campbell; and Publications/ Writings/Drafts by others. Of particular interest is the extensive series of correspondence with family, relatives, friends, writers, artists, and colleagues, as well as drafts, manuscripts, reviews, and published versions of her writings. Taken together with her calendars, diaries, notes, and photographs these papers provide personal insights into Anne Campbell and the development of her work. Beyond that, files relating to the numerous cultural and professional organizations with which she was involved, especially the Saskatchewan Writer's Guild, the Writers union of Canada, and the League of Canadian poets, cast light on the craft of writing and creating poetry in Saskatchewan and on the milieu in which those activities occur. Additionally, files relating to local cultural groups, including an extensive series on Heritage Regina, provide evidence of the local cultural scene.

Fonds consists of personal, professional, and literary papers of English professor and writer Joan Givner, [ca. 1950s]-1995). Although the fonds has been only partially processed, and arrangement differs among the various accessions, in general the records fall into the following series: Biographical (1978); Clippings (1979-1985); Correspondence (1958-19895); Writings by Joan Givner ([ca. 1950s]-1995, largely undated); Publications (1967-1990); Personal Files (1969-1985); Photographs (19__-1981); Professional and Research Files (1971-1995); and Writings and Speeches by Others (1950-1984). Of particular interest are extensive correspondence, photographs, research materials, clippings, drafts, manuscripts, publicity materials, and reviews relating to the researching, writing, and publication of 'Katherine Anne Porter': A Life', as well as drafts of numerous short stories, plays, and essays by Givner. Also noteworthy is a large quantity of personal and professional correspondence with family, friends, acquaintances, academic and professional colleagues, university departments, publishers and booksellers, students, and writers. Family photographs and biographical material are also present in the fonds, as well as small amounts of teaching materials.

The fonds consists of records made and received by the officers, parishes and organizations constituting the Diocese of Saskatchewan and documenting their activities within the diocese and in their relationships with organizations and individuals external to it.

This fonds consists of records of Father James Athol Murray from 1918 but particularly from his time at the Notre Dame College from 1927 to his death in1975. Father Murray's interests were intricately involved with his role as College administrator and teacher and as a result there is not always a clear distinction between his personal records and records of the college. This fonds contains: photographs of Athol Murray and albums he compiled, many related to school events as well Canadian and international events; textual records consisting of extensive correspondence with international figures, including Canadian Prime Ministers Sir Wilfred Laurier, Louis St. Laurent, Mackenzie King, Lester Pearson, John Diefenbaker and Pierre Trudeau, as well as Notre Dame students and alumni; newspaper clippings; and publications prepared by Athol Murray. The videos and sound recordings document Father Murray's speeches and interviews on such topics as sports, education, politics and religion. The records are arranged in three series: Correspondence with cultural organizations, government agencies, media, friends, writers, and others (1981-1987); Publications by Sharon Butala (1985); and Writings and Drafts (1982-1987). The latter contains various drafts and manuscripts of a number of unpublished and published works including 'Sweet Time' (Herren, 1985), 'Country of the Heart' (Fifth House, 1984), 'Luna' (Harper Collins, 1988), and 'From the Heart'.
