Fonds consists of personal papers created by agriculturalist, civil servant, international development worker, community activist, and sportsman, William M. Harding. Arranged by Harding in eleven roughly chronological series (Swift Current; Calgary; Hockey; Basketball; Adult Education Division; Department of Agriculture Period; CCF/NDP files; Community Clinic files; Guyana Period; and Liberia Papers), the papers provide selective documentation of his life and activities. Of particular interest are correspondence, reports, clippings, pamphlets, committee files, radio scripts, notes, briefing materials, minutes, and other records relating to his career as a civil servant with the Government of Saskatchewan, first with the Adult Education Division (1945-1946) and then with the Department of Agriculture (1947-1952). Records relating to Harding's work as Secretary of the Royal Commission on Agriculture and Rural Life (1952-1957), The Local Government Continuing Committee (1958-1961) include reports, a discussion handbook, speaking assignments and notes, pamphlets, correspondence, and other documents. Political materials, including election platforms, publicity materials, canvassing reports, analysis of election results, surveys, working papers, and correspondence (contains Woodrow Lloyd letters) relate to Harding's organizational and educational work for the CCF/NDP during the 1950s and 1960s, and a small series of pamphlets, statements, reports and published documents provide informatin on the community clinic movement in Regina and Saskatchewan. Also noteworthy is a substantial series of correspondence, reports, meeting materials, speeches, press clippings, pamphlets and other papers pertaining to his United Nations development work in Guyana (1964-1967), and in Liberia (1961-1962). Harding's early life and career in Swift Current are represented through articles, historical material, lecture notes, correspondence, clippings, pamphlets and reports from his work at the Swift Current Experimental Station in the 1930's, and by historical material on the Kinetic Club. A small clutch of clippings, publicity materials and documents concerning the Kinsmen arise from his time with the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede (1942-1944), and his sporting activities as a hockey official in Alberta and as an organizer of basketball in Swift Current and Regina are also documented. A detailed personal history prepared by Bill Harding in 1990 is also included.

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers of Myrna Kostash. Included are personal and business correspondence, financial records, association files, teaching records, project files, and records relating to her extensive writing activities. The latter include background material, research files, articles, drafts, corrections, manuscripts, speeches, presentations and readings, interviews, newspaper columns, correspondence, scripts, notes, and reviews. Of particular note are audio cassettes and transcripts of interviews Kostash conducted during research for two books, "Long way from home: the story of the sixties generation in Canada" and "No kidding: inside the world of teenage girls". Kostash's involvement with NeWest Press (1983-1989), and with numerous professional organizations including the Writers' Union of Canada (1978-1994), the Writers Guild of Alberta (1980-1988), and the Periodical Writers Association of Canada (1976-1984), are reflected in records consisting of correspondence, minutes, agendas, membership lists, newsletters, constitutions, policy papers, committee files, and other material.

Fonds consists of personal papers created by Dr. Howard Leyton-Brown. Included are reports, notes, correspondence, meeting materials, minutes, list of artist and compositions, programs, and other records reflecting his various musical involvements locally, provincially, and nationally. The bulk of the records pertain to Dr. Leyton-Brown's activities as a member and director of the Saskatchewan Arts Board. Dating from 1966-1972, this series includes job applications, briefs, reports, committee files, correspondence, grant applications, information bulletins, minutes and agendas of Board meetings, monthly operations reports, clippings, and press releases. His participation with the Canada Council is also documented in a series of files containing reports, meeting materials, notes, and correspondence, 1971-1974. The remainder of the fonds is arranged by the organization or institution with which Dr. Leyton-Brown was associated, and includes the Canadian Association of University Schools of Music (1967); the Conservatory of Music, University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus (1962-1966); the Regina Council of the Arts (1970); the Regina Orchestral Society (1963-1964); and the Regina Symphony Orchestra (1963-1964; 1973).

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers of Dean of Engineering John B. Mantle, 1937-1976. The records have not been processed but the following series can be identified: Student Notebooks (1939-1941, 1946-1947, 1963-1964); Teaching (1949-1967); Publications and Papers by Mantle (1948-1970); Research Papers by Others (1937-1976); Photographs (1948-1954); University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus Committees (1973); and Professional Associations (1962-1974). The last two series contain the transcripts and report of the Senior Academic Committee Subcommittee Studying Student Participation in University Government; and correspondence, reports, meeting materials, minutes, procedures, syllabus of examination, and other documentation of the Canadian Accreditation Board of the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers, including accreditation visits to the University of Western Ontario, the University of Calgary, and the University of Manitoba. The photos in this fonds depict University of Saskatchewan Mechanical Engineering classes and R.C.A.F Squadron groups. The Teaching files contain student papers, lab assignments, instructional materials, memoranda and background papers pertaining to classes taught by John B. Mantle, and the Research Papers relate chiefly to photoelasticity. In addition to published articles by John Mantle, the Publications and Papers series includes correspondence, photographs, diagrams, lab reports, drafts, and unpublished papers.

This fonds consists of records of Father James Athol Murray from 1918 but particularly from his time at the Notre Dame College from 1927 to his death in1975. Father Murray's interests were intricately involved with his role as College administrator and teacher and as a result there is not always a clear distinction between his personal records and records of the college. This fonds contains: photographs of Athol Murray and albums he compiled, many related to school events as well Canadian and international events; textual records consisting of extensive correspondence with international figures, including Canadian Prime Ministers Sir Wilfred Laurier, Louis St. Laurent, Mackenzie King, Lester Pearson, John Diefenbaker and Pierre Trudeau, as well as Notre Dame students and alumni; newspaper clippings; and publications prepared by Athol Murray. This fonds contains records related to the development and operation of the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame. Textual records consist of correspondence, business records concerning the Arts program, alumni records, newsclippings, and college publications and brochures. The extensive series of photographs and video recordings document college life and feature campus buildings, students, graduation ceremonies, choral and drama productions, and sports events. Sound recordings capture interviews with Notre Dame students and staff, and College songs.
