Science 1991-95 - Physics Demo

The Saskatchewan Bulletin, Nov. 18, 1992, p. 1; "Tim Muench, a Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology instructor, spins a quarter on the end of a coat-hanger, without it flying off - much to the delight of teacher Ingrid Benning's Grade 6 space science club at Saskatoon's Brunskill School. Muench, a finalist in the Canadian Astronaut Program's recent candidate search, visited the school Oct. 22 to launch the joint federal/provincial/professional engineers' Innovators in the Schools program, which brings scientists into classrooms to make science fun and interesting for students."

As the exhibit suggested, he has concentrated most of his creative efforts on Northern Saskatchewan, a country he knows and loves well. Mr. Kelly admits to 'dabbling' in painting all his life, but says he has only taken up painting seriously in the past few years."
