Scope and content
The Saskatchewan Bulletin, Sept., 1965, p. 7; "L. James Kelly explains one of the ten paintings which composed a one-man show at the STF Office Building during the summer months. A Saskatchewan product, Mr. Kelly has spent the past ten years on the staff of Prince Albert Composite High School where he taught chemistry and PSSC Physics. As the exhibit suggested, he has concentrated most of his creative efforts on Northern Saskatchewan, a country he knows and loves well. Mr. Kelly admits to 'dabbling' in painting all his life, but says he has only taken up painting seriously in the past few years."
