The fonds contains one black and white photograph of the Edenbridge S.D. #2930 building near Gronlid, Saskatchewan. The photograph was taken in between 1913 and 1960 and was reprinted in 1999. It is from Vickar Norman's private collection.

The fonds contains 23 black and white photographs, 21 black and white negatives, and 1 photocopy of a photograph from Charles Hillary Hopkins' private collection. The majority of the photographs were reprinted in 1996, but the original copies of these photographs date from the 1930's to 1959. The photographs were taken in Melfort, Saskatchewan and surrounding areas including the Stoney Creek and Whittome districts. They include images of Melfort High School (Melfort Collegiate Institute)students and staff, Broadway School students, snow plowing, and a flood.

Melfort Research Station Hay Drying Tower - Melfort, Saskatchewan

Forage harvesting research was started in 1971 in co-operation with the Engineering Research Service at Ottawa. Forage produced under various systems was evaluated by feeding to beef cattle. A hay-drying tower, the first on the continent, was built in 1971. It had a capacity of more than 80 tonnes dry matter. The first forage systems engineer was hired in 1973 Dr. W. Coates. The metal roof, suspended with a winch system, is supported by 4, H beams, bolted to metal plates anchored in concrete piles.
The fonds contains seven colour photographs taken during Melfort, Saskatchewan's 1980 "Melfort Reunion, Celebrate Saskatchewan 1905-1980" events. Subjects include the stage at the Melfort Agricultural Society grounds and community organization floats in the parade, and feature a number of Melfort city councillors serving during 1980.

The collection contains scanned copies of black and white photographs belonging to Florence Bohn. The original dates for the photographs range from 1955 to 1960. Five photographs contain images of the Beatty schoolhouse and students. Historically important images include a photograph of Governor General Vincent Massey's visit to Melfort, Saskatchewan in 1955. The photographs were scanned ca. 2003 at 300 dpi with 16 million colours.
