This fonds consists of a minute book of eleven consecutive monthly meetings from June 11, 1896 to April 22, 1897. A few pages contain handwritten poems. There are some notes pertaining to livestock inventory and sales.
This fonds consists of a five series dealing with the Moose Jaw Old Timers Association. One regarding the general business of the association, another focused on the annual banquet and dance given by the association for its members. A series of the history notes of the Moose Jaw area, pioneer lists and a publication of history for Moose Jaw's Golden Jubilee. Another series contains the records of the associations banquets and the final series is made up of correspondence to the organization.
This fonds consists primarily of yearly files of the secretary-treasurer of the Tuxford School District board of trustees. These consist of correspondence, banking records, invoices from suppliers for books, building materials, coal and other supplies and services. They also include minutes, school inspection reports and employee records filed by year. There are also a small number of related files and ledgers not organized by year.
This fonds consists of 649 photographic images created by Leslie Earl McWilliams. Subject matter is primarily agricultural activities, family members, Moose Jaw buildings, and the family farm. A number of the images related to Scottish pipe and drum bands. The fonds also includes images of Claybank Brick Plant and associated clay deposits and a variety of travel photos including British Columbia, northern Saskatchewan and Churchill, Manitoba.
This fonds consists of three series; business records of the minutes of meetings 1901 to 1906 and membership roster 1901 to 1905 of the Duchess of York Chapter, historical records in three scrapbooks of newspaper clippings (most undated) and photographs, primarily from the Lawrence of Arabia Chapter., I.O.D.E. publications and miscellaneous papers consisting of letterhead, application forms, certificates, pamphlets and receipts.
The fonds consists of material pertaining to the administration and history of the Moose Jaw General Hospital. Such material includes photocopied meeting minutes of the Moose Jaw Hospital Board, correspondences, reports, and meeting minutes of the Centralized Teaching Program Board of Administration, correspondences, reports, and awards lists regarding graduating nurses, the administrative and structural history of the hospital, and booklets published for it’s reincarnation as the Moose Jaw Union Hospital.
This collection consists of souvenir books and pamphlets about Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. This material contains facts and figures about Moose Jaw as well as photographs and illustrations of the city. They were produced from 1903-1929 and many of the booklets were issued by the Moose Jaw Board of Trade. This material was collected by the Moose Jaw Public Library in their vertical subject files.
This fonds consists of a Minute Book of the Moose Jaw Fire Department, two booklets of the Department's "Rules and Regulations." Also included is a book of inventory and accounts as well as correspondence from the Moose Jaw Trades and Labor Council to City Council requesting the expansion of the City's fire limits and regulations. A Souvenir booklet of the Moose Jaw Fire Department as well as documents that illustrate a portion of the department's history, is also present.
This is Doug McGillivray’s “Memory Lane” sports collection. It is a compilation of newspaper and magazine clippings of sporting events from 1904-1993. The sporting events include: horse racing, golf, collegiate sports, boxing, wrestling, soccer, ladies and men’s softball, Western Hockey Association (W.H.A.) hockey, track and field, basketball, old-timer hockey and National Hockey League (N.H.L.) hockey. The clippings are mounted on coloured bristol board.
This fonds consists of three books: Wehman Bros.’ New Book of 153 Tricks, and Morang’s Modern Phonic Primer: Part 1 & 2. Morang’s Modern Phonic Primers were “authorized by the Minister of Education for use in the public schools of Ontario”. Mary Harding’s name is inscribed on both part 1 & 2 and the books are heavily annotated.
This fonds consists of bulletins, newsletters, convention programs and reports, correspondence, publicity and press reports from Saskatchewan and other provincial unions, guidelines for the superintendents of the various departments of the W.C.T.U., biographical histories of prominent women of the W.C.T.U., information on the Canadian Loyal Temperance Legion and published material on the negative effects of alcohol, tobacco and drugs.
This fonds consists of a membership roster, 1906, minutes of trustee meetings, 1909, and records of births, baptisms, confirmations, immigration dates, marriages, received members, removed members, and deaths, from 1906 to some entries being made in 1975.
