This fonds contains drafts and preparations for the SIAST’s yearbooks from 1981-1986, meeting minutes of the SRC from 1980, and information booklets from 1976-1981. It includes page layouts, prints of photographs, negatives, meeting minutes, booklets, and a blueprint.
This fonds reflects the activity of Heritage Moose Jaw. It includes one scrapbook of heritage buildings in Moose Jaw and material about the Moose Jaw Cemetery. The organization received a grant to help restore some of the tombstones in the cemetery and they collected information about the individuals buried there.
This fonds consists of the original material that was written and submitted for the compilation of the book “The Rolling Hills Review 1840-1980.” It includes family histories(biographies), stories, historic information on places, organizations, companies and events during the period from 1840 to 1980 for the Bevitt, Crestwynd, Bay Island, Don Jean, Old Wives, Piety Hills and Windcrest Districts.
Mary Barber fonds contains records concerning the writing of the community history book "Parkbeg Reflections". It consists of the manuscript and typescript drafts of the family histories section of Parkbeg Reflections. There are over 350 family history drafts included. Mary Barber organized these drafts using separate envelopes for each family and arranged them alphabetically by surname. These envelopes also include information regarding the author, the typist and the proofreader of the drafts.
This fonds contains four series: Officers’ Manuals and Minutes, Financial Reports, Dances, and Membership. It is comprised of manuals created by the organization for the use of its officers, which include the constitution, financial records, meeting minutes, information about other members of the Association of Minus One Clubs of Saskatchewan, dance schedules and band bookings, and membership information. The fonds also contains regular, executive, and annual meeting minutes and reports.
This fonds consists of all the original material that was written and submitted for the compilation of the book Heritage of the Wheatlands: Tuxford and Area. It includes family histories (biographies), stories, and historic information on places, organizations, companies and events in the Tuxford area including the school districts of Blofield, Buffalo Lake, Clinton, Fairwell, Southlake and Westlake.
This fonds contains a signed copy of Mildred Russell’s book, “Reflections of Life”, and a newspaper clipping of Russell meeting then Lieutenant-Governor George Porteous.
This fonds consists of the history, constitution, minutes of meetings, financial records, notices, newsletters, and newspaper clippings of the North Shore Cottagers Association from their formation in 1974 to their disbanding in 1989. There are maps, a booklet, and information on studies conducted in the process to establish the Village of North Grove. There is also a copy of the Qu’Appelle Valley Scenic Highway Study which was compiled by the Planning Branch of the Saskatchewan Department of Highways in 1973.
This fonds consists of the business and activities of the Welcome Wagon Newcomers Alumni Club. Included are the constitution and by-laws, membership lists, agendas and minutes of meetings, and planning lists for activities. There are two coil bound scrapbooks of photographs, cards, and newspaper clippings of Club activities. There are two editions of Welcome Wagon International Handbook and By-Laws.
