This fonds relates to the lives of siblings or descendants of RHD Phillips and Tanyss (Bell) Phillips. Robert Howard Daniel (“Bob”) Phillips (1921-2006) was a journalist. He joined the staff of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as a research analyst, and later became the editor and publisher of the Western Producer. He married Tanyss Bell in 1951. Tanyss (1926-2016) was an economist who worked in the research department of the Bank of Canada, with the Saskatchewan Royal Commission on Agriculture and Rural Life, as a lecturer at the University of Regina, and as a contract editor. Both were alumni of the University of Saskatchewan.

This collection contains materials related to AIDS Regina and the dramatic productions initiated by them as fundraisers / education. An outreach of that work was the formation of Oscar Wilde & Company. This collection includes scripts, posters, and programmes; and by extension documents the collaboration between Nils Clausson and Guy Michaud, who established the first gay theatre company in Saskatchewan.

His academic activities include not only his own writing in a variety of genres but also his editing, assessment and review of the contributions of others to prose, poetry, drama and film. His service to the community external to the University is primarily evident in the political, arts and heritage fields.
This fonds contains many of the medals, awards and certificates earned by Andrusyshen throughout his lifetime; glimpses into his non-academic life, including family photographs, ephemera relating to his candidacy as an Independent candidate, portraits, travel documents, etc. Importantly, it contains the extensive background research, notes, and photocopies compiled by June Dutka for her book on Andrusyshen, The Grace of Passing.
This fond contains mostly textual material, specifically copies of the books and articles Bob Fink wrote over his lifetime, mainly in regards to the evolution and origin of music and other topics related to music. The other half of the collection is copies of sheet music which he composed, mainly under the series name “Some New Old Music” as well as the opera Lysistrata. It has been published individually as well as in collections. There are also some recordings on a variety of media (CD, cassette, and reel to reel) which appear to contain recordings of Bob Fink playing his compositions.
Bob Fink kept an extensive website filled with the articles he wrote on a wide variety of topics. It also contains links to articles he collected that were of interest to him and related to his areas of study. It also contains MIDI’s of the music he composed.
