This fonds contains material relating to all activities undertaken by the Extension Division. These records generally contain correspondence, minutes, reports, and memoranda; as well as publications and bulletins, and information on various provincial and national associations, societies, or clubs.

This fonds reflects Holmlund’s interest in the philosophy of education, his varied career at the University of Saskatchewan, and his concern for an equitable society. It is particularly valuable as a source for university history, specifically for the period of Leo Kristjanson’s tenure; and for issues surrounding health delivery, education, and the College of Medicine; the development of computer / IT services on campus; and First Nations educational opportunities. As a reflection of planning at a post-secondary U-15 institution, this fonds is particularly strong, notably for the materials surrounding the Issues and Options project.

This collection contains correspondence, notes, reports, photos, maps, evidence and lists pertaining to Dr. Murray's activities on three royal commissions and as a judge of the Community Progress Competitions.

This ready-reference collection of articles and clippings has been compiled in order to highlight some main topics of interest within our holdings, or to provide straightforward answers to frequently asked questions. The collection is intended to grow as future archival workers add files for major events, persons, and topics, and flesh out those files already existing with further clippings and articles.

and his staff. There is also large collection of press clippings, supplemented by press clippings gathered by the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada.

These records contain reports, correspondence, working papers, and published material regarding university operations forecasts, space planning, and capital replacement costs. There are specific reports on Fine Arts, health facilities funding options, and applied research.

This fonds is divided into four accessions. The first consists of the departmental correspondence and reports. The majority of this accession deals with the organization and production of Summer Tours to small centres in Saskatchewan and Manitoba (1948-1950). The second accession includes a calender of performances (1946-1969), scripts and prompt books. The third accession includes class lists, lecture notes, annual reports (1955-1975), Greystone Theatre records and files relating to Drama Department productions (1947-1971). Production files contain programs, photos, reviews, box office receipts, correspondence, cast lists etc. The fourth accession contains lecture notes, essays, and writings of Emrys Jones, the first head of the department.

Also included is correspondence and submissions to the Canadian Journal of History, an academic journal of non-Canadian history published by the department.

Also included is material relating to concerts, recitals, guest artists and lecturers, and workshops sponsored by the department. A separate accession contains correspondence, memoranda, and specifications pertaining to the department's move to the Education Building (1974-1976).
