General note

John Walker was Assistant Horticulturist at the Indian Head Experimental Farm in 1925 and then moved to Manitoba. In 1942, Walker was appointed Superintendent of the Forest Nursery Station (later PFRA Tree Nursery). He was superintendent until retirement in 1958. He was the father of well-known Indian Head pharmacist Spence Walker (Jealous and Walker Drugs). (see Indian Head History Book pp 723-725)
