Series consists of 14 photographs and 4 drawings of members of the Swanson family. Most photographs are labelled either on the photograph or had a paper label with it in the original photo album. Drawings are of, presumably, Christian Swanson's parents and Julia (Johanneson) Swanson's parents. Also includes photographs of the paternal and maternal grandparents' homes in Tännäs, Sweden.

Arrangement
Photographs and drawings were originally in a photo album. The pages were photocopied to indicate the original arrangement and page order as well as to retain any labelling information that was not directly on the photographs and drawings. These photocopies were put in the folder for reference. The originals were then removed from the pages and put into protective sleeves for preservation purposes.

Photographs range in size from 6.5 x 7.4 cm to 10.1 x 14.9 cm. Drawings range in size from 23.1 x 17.8 cm to 23.4 x 18.5 cm. The drawing of the woman that appears to be Grandmother Swanson in the photo album due to its location is labelled "Grandmother Johanneson in Sweden" on the back, and the drawing of the woman that appears to be Grandmother Johanneson in the photo album due to its location is labelled "Granmother Swanson in Sweden" on the back.
