Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Donald A. Bailey was born in Saskatoon in 1934 during the Great Depression. He graduated from Nutana Collegiate in the late 1940s and earned a BA from the University of Saskatchewan in 1955. Dr. Bailey’s postgraduate education began at Bowling Green State University (Ohio) and was completed at Indiana University where he received his PhD in 1959. He returned to Saskatoon that same year and was recruited into the School of Physical Education.
