St. Thomas More College Archives
The St. Thomas More College Archives collects, preserves and makes accessible the archival records of St. Thomas More College and Newman Centre at the University of Saskatchewan. The STM Archives is part of a consortium of three Catholic archives in Saskatoon under the care of one archivist who is based at St. Thomas More College. Shannon Library at St. Thomas More College is the home of the Anglin Collection of Canadian Catholic History, a special library collection of published materials. The STM archivist assists researchers of Canadian Catholic History in the use of the resources in this collection on request.
Records related to the pre-history and history of the administration, academic work and student life of Newman Centre and St. Thomas More College at the University of Saskatchewan since their establishment in 1926 and 1936 respectively. Additional holdings include the personal papers of Basilian Fathers of Saskatoon, research materials on the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon, and the records of the English Section of the Canadian Catholic Historical Association (founded in 1933).
