General note

The cyclone which hit Rosetown at 11pm on June 16, 1923 removed the roof of the Rosetown Hotel. In the background are seen the Catholic Church and rectory, the Rosetown School and a framed building beside the school which housed additional classes that later became the Scout Hut.
