Wascana Presbytery was one of the 7 presbyteries of Saskatchewan Conference created in 2000. It was initially comprised of pastoral charges from the former Regina Presbytery. In January 2019, as part of a larger restructuring of the United Church of Canada, Wascana Presbytery was combined with Saskatchewan Conference and the other remaining presbyteries to become Region 4.

The fonds consists of textual materials generated by the Presbytery, its secretaries, committees and related bodies, in fulfillment of their responsibilities, as outlined in the Manual of the United Church of Canada.
Contents include: minutes and correspondence files.

Immediate source of acquisition
Received from presbytery contacts by Saskatchewan Conference staff (archives inventory no. I-154), around 2011 or earlier, and by Living Skies Regional Council staff (no. I-413, I-452), in 2020 and 2022.

Initial contents were arranged and described in 2018, with further items added ca.2022.
