This substantive family archive of Canadiana consists of multi-page correspondence for southern and south-central Ontario beginning in 1875 through 1929, but mostly pre-20th century, and comprises of several different threads of personal/familial writings with letters received between Saskatoon Saskatchewan, and many other locations across Canada. Along with the over 85 letters are some loose covers, an account book, one check book with stubs and perhaps another 20 pieces of ephemera.

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers documenting the career of playwright and pastor Rex Deverell, 1956-1989. The records are arranged in the following series: Personal; Financial Records; General Correspondence; Globe Theatre; Pastoral Career/Religious Interests; Plays by Rex Deverell; Plays by Others; Professional Activities and Interests; Professional Associations; Publications; Writings by Rex Deverell; Writings by Others; and Tapes. The bulk of the fonds consists of background material, correspondence, notes, reviews, scripts, drafts, musical scores, songs, programs, audio tapes, photographs, printed copies, and other records relating to the writing and production of Deverell's many stage plays and TV/film plays, as well as his articles, early writings, poetry, radio commentaries, and short stories. Also of interest are the General Correspondence series which includes correspondence with several writers and theatre companies; the Globe Theatre files; the Pastoral Career/Religious Interests series which contains general files, sermons and notes, and other records relating to Deverell's pastoral life; and the Professional Activities and Interests and Professional Associations series which include records pertaining to the many conferences, workshops, and organizations with which he was involved. Small quantities of personal and family correspondence and photos are also present.

This fonds contains material created or collected by Dr. Williamson during his varied career as an anthropologist, civil servant, legislator, professor, and as a consultant for various provincial, national and international organizations and governments. Although primarily documenting Dr. Williamson's work for and with the Inuit of northern Canada, this fonds includes material relating to all circumpolar countries, other aboriginal groups in Canada, international affairs, and a very broad range of topics as they relate to the north, including art and culture, physical geography, sport, environment, botany, zoology, economics, defence, etc. It includes his personal and professional correspondence, research data, articles and scholarly writing, as well as a substantial collection of reference publications.

This fonds contains materials created or collected by R.H.D. Phillips, particularly during his tenure with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. In particular, it contains extensive materials documenting the work of the Research Division, including specific issues relating to their internal communications, and transportation issues. Additionally there is documentation relating to the running and operations of the Western Producer, Modern Press, and Western Producer Publishing. Also included are records relating to the establishment and demise of St. Stephen’s Church in Regina, a variety of genealogies compiled by Phillips, documents pertaining to Tanyss Phillips's work with the Royal Commission on Agricultural and Rural Life, and documents relating to post-secondary education in Saskatchewan.

This collection contains two copies of the promotional booklet Moose Jaw: The Buckle of the Greatest Wheat Belt in the World. It was published in 1913 by Rice’s Studio, with Lewis Rice as publisher. It includes facts and figures about Moose Jaw as well as photographs and illustrations of the town. Many of the photographs were taken by Rice. Both booklets bear a stamp from the Moose Jaw Board of Trade.

It includes writings on George William ‘Bill’ Ward, a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the history of Moose Jaw residents in relation to the sinking of the Line Athenia. It also includes the history of the Moose Jaw Dam-buster Airmen, Sergeant-Pilot Kenneth Brown and Pilot Officer Robert Alexander Urquhart.
