This fonds contains materials documenting the personal and academic life of David Farmer. The bulk of the academic, research, and reference material deals with the history of agriculture, prices, and marketing in England and during the Middle Ages.

This fonds consists of Reid's research materials relating Isaac Barr and the Barr Colony. Materials include copies of documents on the Barr family and the Barr Colony, dating from 1883. The records have been sorted into three broad categories. New file titles have been created only when it was appropriate to do so.

This fonds contains correspondence with family, friends and colleagues; biographical and research grant information; research and bibliographic files and notes; manuscripts and typescripts of published and unpublished scholarly articles, book reviews, addresses and books; lecture notes and course materials; as well as drafts and typescripts of plays, short stories and several books for youth. This fonds contains an initial section of articles and reviews written by J.M Hayden. The remainder is correspondence, notes, drafts, and research material relating to his Doctoral thesis, "The Estates General of 1614" and his four published books: "France and the Estates General of 1614", "The Manning of the British Navy During the Seven Years War" [written by Stephen Gradish and edited by Hayden], "So Much To Do, So Little Time: The Writings of Hilda Neatby" and "Seeking A Balance: The University of Saskatchewan 1907-1982." The latter two contain the most extensive material, and are particularly relevant to the study of the University of Saskatchewan's history.

This album contains over 360 autographs from prominent individuals of the time, including six Prime Ministers (all those who served between 1878-1911); eight Governors-General; 25 cabinet ministers; and over 100 members of parliament, predominantly those who served in the first 10 parliaments [first sitting date to dissolution] between 1867 and 1905. Other individuals of achievement and/or fame in various fields are also represented: scientists; public officials from other countries; diplomats; religious leaders; those in the performing arts. Uniquely, the album also contains several signatures from members of the Royal Family: extremely rare in an album of this kind.

This collection contains considerable material relating to aviation history, particularly in western and northern Canada, including material on: the Keng Wah Aviation School for Nationalist Chinese pilots; the RCAF; illustrations of the technology of flight; reference material; and microfilms of the Hudson Strait Expedition fonds (1927-1928) and "The Bulletin" (Western Canada Airways, 1929-1937). Additionally, there is material on Tweddell's other research interests, notably aerial mapping and surveying.

This substantive family archive of Canadiana consists of multi-page correspondence for southern and south-central Ontario beginning in 1875 through 1929, but mostly pre-20th century, and comprises of several different threads of personal/familial writings with letters received between Saskatoon Saskatchewan, and many other locations across Canada. Along with the over 85 letters are some loose covers, an account book, one check book with stubs and perhaps another 20 pieces of ephemera.
