The fonds includes records documenting Isabelle Mills’ career as a professor at the University of Saskatchewan, a doctoral candidate at Columbia University, and a teacher at Brandon College. Her strong interest in and promotion of Canadian music is reflected in a broad collection of musical scores, including relatively early sheet music; correspondence relating to the Canadian Music Centre; records relating to courses taught and Canadian music concerts organized; and other material including a variety of general information about Canadian music and composers. Her role as director of the Quance Chorus at the University of Saskatchewan is documented by a fairly complete set of concert programs and a selection of audio tapes of concerts. There are also records relating to church music (including a variety of United Church of Canada hymn books); records relating to Canadian music; musical scores including piano, vocal and choral music. There is also material relating to her research and extension/community service activities, including her lecture tour to the Ukraine and the Buxtehude/Scheidt Festival and Conference; material relating to her role as Assistant Dean; and other material including personal memorabilia and administrative correspondence.

This fonds contains material relating to Dr. Crawford's poultry research, notably epilepsy mutant data, notes on breeds including Japanese quail and Chantecler, material from Poultry Breeding and Genetics, and wing band indexes of stocks by year (1965-1990); as well as material relating to Dr. Crawford's sabbatical leaves, and his personal correspondence.

This fonds contains abstracts, research reports, and articles, including research on soil structure analysis, soils and roots, chemical herbicides, and weed control. It also includes a copy of Dr. Pavlychenko's thesis, "Root Systems of Certain Forage Crops in Relation to the Management of Agricultural Soils" and lecture notes, bibliographies, list of references and background material, including precipitation records from 1920-1950. In addition, there is a considerable amount of correspondence, both with individuals such as L.E. Kirk, G.D. Fuller, H. Ohorodnyk, and Premier Stewart Garson of Manitoba, as well as with various associations and companies, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Bureau of Plant Industry, and the Canadian Pacific Railway (specifically concerning weed control on railway rights of way). The fonds also contains the 35 mm black and white film "Roots in the Ground" and two video tape dubs. of that film

This collection contains material used to write the anecdotal history of the University of Saskatchewan, "Inside These Greystone Walls." This fonds consists of correspondence, research notes, drafts, and manuscripts relating to King's books: "A Book of Canadian Poems;" "A Book of Essays;" "Extending the Boundaries;" "The First Fifty;" "Saskatchewan: The Making of a University;" "Saskatchewan Harvest;" and "Three Stories by Joseph Conrad." Additionally, it includes King's articles, lectures, and addresses dealing primarily with Canadian literature. There is also material related to King's other interests: the career and works of G.B. Shaw and R.A. Wilson, provincial and national library associations, and pacifism.

This fonds contains personal correspondence relating both to McNamee's art, and his work in human rights. In addition, there is considerable reference material documenting both his work, and the work of others, within the art community and for the Coalition for Human Equality. The material on CHE not only provides extensive documentation of that organizations work in Saskatoon and particularly, in the first fight to have the province's human rights legislation amended; but also contains documentation from similar organizations across Canada.

This fonds consists largely of Richards' correspondence, lecture materials, personal data, addresses, articles, and research material. His work on the "Atlas of Saskatchewan" is included as is a variety of research material from studies done on an array of topics including land use, mapping, Saskatchewan land inventory, Grasslands National Park, recreational land use, regional planning, land use conflicts, and the NASA course at the Johnson Space Centre.

The images in this fonds primarily document volcanology, and were taken during various international field trips.

This accrual includes a broad array of teaching slides on the subject of large animal reproduction, conference and workshop proceedings from around the world, information on international courses taught by Mapletoft, an array of papers written by Mapletoft, and a small selection of relevant ephemera.

This fonds contains correspondence, newsletters, clippings, sound recordings, books, reprints, maps, periodicals, calendars, almanacs, and notes pertaining to the activities and interests of V.O. Buyniak during his career at the University of Saskatchewan. Though the material covers a broad spectrum of topics over several decades, the bulk of the material deals with aspects of Slavic language and culture.
