General note

A large gathering of people witnessing the Duke of Connaught's visit to Indian Head. The photo features a large "wheat arch" designed by Norman Ross and Charles Edwards. Buildings in the background include the Union Bank (now Film Rescue International) and the Thompson Block.
Caption: "Visit of the Governor-General H.R.H. the Duke of Connaught 1910 (NB. This is an error as the visit was on October 17, 1912) Scene on Grand Avenue. Arch of Grain designed and erected by Norman M. Ross assisted by C.A. Edwards. The late G.S. Davidson was Mayor of Indian Head at that time."
