Original provenance for many of the records in the fonds is unclear. Initial records were likely transferred to the archives between 1926 and 1986, with further additions between the 1990s and 2010s.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of records created by Yorkton Presbyterial U.C.W., its members, treasurers, circles and committees, as well as those of its predecessors: Yorkton-Abernethy [or Abernethy-Yorkton] Presbyterial of the W.A. (Woman's Association); and Yorkton, Abernethy, Abernethy-Yorkton and Kamsack Presbyterials of the United Church W.M.S. (Woman's Missionary Society).
Contents include: minutes, reports, membership lists; programs, bulletins, [financial] ledgers, and scrapbooks.

Original order for many of these records is unclear. Items listed under A.381.XIV, XIII, and XII were arranged sometime before 1990, as part of separate sub-series (for Presbyterial W.M.S., W.A. and U.C.W. groupings). These, along with further accruals, were described as part of the current fonds in 2023.
