This fonds consists of material relating to the R. A. F. No. 32 Choir’s Nautical Nites performance on Wednesday, February 16, 1944. The performance was sponsored by the Westhall Club of St. John’s Church and all proceeds from the event went to the local Navy Auxiliary. It was held at the Moose Jaw Technical School. The performance was conducted by Eric Holden and accompanied by William Poole. This fonds includes newspaper clippings about the performance, a ticket and a programme from the event.
This fonds consists of the minutes, treasurers reports, membership lists and meeting attendance records. There is nothing for the years 1948, 1949, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981. There is a guest register on ruled not paper with names of people present at the Club’s 25th and 50th anniversary celebrations. Everything except the “guest register” is in notebooks.
This fonds contains an economics assignment completed by Hazen Robert Argue. The assignment is for Economics VI and was due March 26, 1940. It is signed Hazen R. Argue.
This fonds contains two meeting minutes books for the Times-Herald Chapel from 1935 to 1975. The minutes books also contain notes requesting that meetings take place, and a letter indicating to a particular employee that further lateness will result in termination.
This fonds contains a bible that was presented at the dedication of the Marquis United Church in Marquis, Saskatchewan on October 17, 1937. The bible was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Hurd. The bible was one of few items to survive and be recovered from the fire.
This fonds contains photographs and memorabilia created and collected by Betty Dawn (Erb) Nicholl. It includes five photo albums containing photographs of her family, friends, and travels. Many of the photographs were taken in Moose Jaw and most of the photographs are identified. It also contains two Prairie Breezes newsletters, announcing Betty’s engagement and marriage to Wilson Nicholl as well as a Central Collegiate Institute 75th Reunion Yearbook.
This letter encloses updates on the Experimental Farm in Morden Manitoba. They discuss shrubs, fruit, and weeds that are being grown on the experimental farm.
This fonds contains one scrapbook containing newspaper clippings regarding weddings, births, and death notices for several Saskatchewan municipalities. Clippings were gathered by Minnie Clemenshaw, an early pioneer to the Archydal area. Scrapbook edited by Beverly Wilson, grand-daughter-in-law of homesteader John Wilson.
This fonds consists of financial and employee records of Whimster’s Hardware in Moose Jaw from 1935 to 1944. There are instructions for employees, as well as letters from a former employee instructing an employee on a few job procedures.
