This collection consists of 52 funeral cards from the estate of the Hodgson brothers, David and Gordon. The cards from the funerals of family and friends of the brothers, may contain birth and death dates, a listing of hymns performed at the funeral, names of pallbearers, surviving family members, and some biographical information about the deceased. The fonds contains 54 scanned black and white photographs. They were taken between the 1920's and 1950's in the Whittome District near Melfort, Saskatchewan. They include images of Prescott S.D. #3935, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, farming activities, and local families.

This fonds contains 200 b&w printed photographs of various buildings, streets, and people of Moose Jaw from its inception to the late 20th century. Most photographs are accompanied by a filename above the photograph.

This fonds contains the administrative records of the art gallery, including exhibition, extension, publicity materials, and correspondence with various artists' associations and organizations.

This collection provides diverse views of northern Canada from the 1940s, the 1960s, and the 1990s. The Miscellaneous Textual Records series also contains a Prosperity Certificate issued by the Government of Alberta in 1936.

Fonds includes records relating to the Department of Plant Ecology's administration, teaching and research; extension work relating to the Saskatchewan Weed Survey; and correspondence with a variety of institutions and individuals. A series of minutes and correspondence relating to the Saskatchewan Committee on the Ecology and Preservation of Grasslands (established in 1935) documents the efforts to establish permanent reserves of significant grasslands in Saskatchewan. Records of the department and personal records of R.T. Coupland have often been intermingled; in particular, this fonds includes records relating to Coupland's research and other activities.
